Install on your Mac
Download MacMote from the Mac App Store (or build from source). The app runs in your menu bar — no clutter, just an icon.

Open the app & get the QR code
Click the menu bar icon → Show QR & Settings. A page opens in your browser with a QR code and the local URL.

Scan with your phone
Scan the QR code with your phone's camera. Your phone opens the volume control on the same Wi‑Fi (or Tailscale) network. Add it to your Home Screen for one-tap access.
The app shows a QR code — scan it to connect your phone.
What you get
